Extra Space Storage - 0559 - Ypsilanti - Carpenter Rd

I have been a loyal customer at Extra Space Storage since April, and upon returning to my unit in August, I found that it had become infested with mice over the summer. In addition, my monthly rate was increased from $132 to $205. The infestation required me to spend additional time disinfecting my belongings before moving them out, which forced me to extend my rental for an additional month at the extra fee. Given the price increase and the lack of adequate facility maintenance, I cannot recommend this location to safely store your belongings.

Very nice 👍🏼 place to put your thing your cherish, and value, for months and know they will be safe and sound. I highly recommend it to anyone that needs a place for storage unit. 5' Stars 🤩

I noticed that the price I was paying for my unit was higher than the currently advertised prices, so I gave them a call and Derek was able to get a discount approved. He was super friendly and helpful and it was the best customer service experience I've had a a long while.

I stopped in to get switched to a larger unit. Derek was in the office and very clearly explain to me how the process would work . I told him that I work three jobs and it's very difficult for me to meet a 24-hour move out. He was very accommodating and worked with me on a solution for this problem. Thank you Derek I appreciate you!

Extra Space has been my go-to for years above all storage companies! Units are clean and pest free. The attendants/managers are very helpful, especially Derrick who is always jubilant, welcoming, and professional. He makes doing business stress-free!
